.... is most certainly a reason to eat frozen croissants with cinnamon butter for dinner.

In a moment of near starvation, complete lack of cooking motivation and a sudden urge to toss the year-old taquitos in our freezer, I discovered one lonely frozen Multigrain Croissant from Trader Joe's. Twenty minutes later, I was eating a flaky and chewy bakery imposter. If only croissants cured the common cold.




This year I will: use or eat as much food and leftovers as possible before they go bad, read four new books, plan a surprise date night for Otter and I each month, teach puppy a new trick, take on day trip each month, develop a signature recipe and signature cocktail (from scratch!), go skydiving, camp in the Grand Canyon, and start/maintain this blog.

Sheesh. Here we go....
